dvd tuesday - Readeez Vol 1.

This evening Chloe and I sat in front of the computer here in the woods of North Georgia and watched the DVD Readeez: Volume 1 from The Readeez Company. I've seen a few of the videos on their youtube site and enjoyed them and thought she probably would too.

And I wasn't wrong. I love the simple, clean-lined graphics and the words that appear as they are spoken which is a big improvement over closed-captioning. The dialogue between father and daughter is pleasant and endearing.

I asked Chloe what she liked about the video. Her answer was that it was cute. I asked her if she liked the words, and she said that she was indifferent. I think that even if she doesn't like them, it is a nice way to help her improve her reading skills in a fun way.

Personally, I could see slightly longer skits that delve slightly deeper on certain topics being an even bigger hit here. We look forward to seeing more from Readeez!!
