Day 3 of Austin City Limits 2009
We headed out much later today since my mom drove us down to the Mopac pedestrian bridge. As soon as we reached the entrance, we were greeted by the mud. Stinky, squishy, squelchy mud. Blech. We mucked our way over to the kids' stage where Ralph's World was setting up. Thankfully, the grass in the kids' area was not muddy - so happy that the area gets shut at night! Chloe and Camille both headed over to get their hair painted and then for the free yogurt drink samples.
Ralph and the guys rocked the stage again, mixing up the set list quite a bit from the previous day. Again, he jumped down into the crowd for the final number. Tom came out to say hi to us before he had to run to the airport. Between sets, I headed over to the food court to get some lunch for us. The mud stunk so bad that I was starting to feel ill. At least I could hear the B-52s as squelched my way there and back.
Secret Agent 23 Skidoo took the stage again. We were so happy that during "I Like Fruit" Saki did the "Banana" part! Tor joined them on stage for much of the set. It was a great set, and the "outsiders" that came early to hear the "special guest" seemed to really enjoy it too. After the set, we said goodbye to everyone and headed out, chuckling about all the people heading in with nice clean, fancy footwear.

Your various reviews are always so good! They make me look at my calendar for next year and think, "Now how can I go *there* and not be missed *here*?"
Hugs to you and the girls!
